Memory foam is a kind of functional foam made of polyurethane and other polymer materials, which has temperature sensitivity and slow rebound characteristics. This material was initially developed by NASA in the 1960s for shock absorption in spacecraft seats, and later expanded to the medical and furniture fields, widely used in products such as mattresses and pillows. The preparation process involves a high-temperature and high-pressure foaming process using polyurethane raw materials and chemical additives, achieving pressure dispersion and body adhesion through a porous structure.
